What to know
Investor profiles link funds, strategies, portfolios and deal activity into a single overview.
That's the full picture of how each firm invests, performs and partners.
Investment intelligence, connected
Each profile links an Investor's firm, strategies and funds into one connected view.
You can see how capital flows through the firm, from Fund to portfolio Company, and how that maps to their investment focus.
On every profile, you'll see a Summary covering:
-
HQ, team size and focus areas
-
Portfolio size and regional footprint
-
Active funds and estimated dry powder
- Growth and fundraising trends over time
Just like with Companies, all data is fully sourced and traceable.
Funds and strategies
Each Investor profile connects to the Funds and Strategies that define how the firm invests.
Funds
Funds represent the capital vehicles they manage - each with a vintage, size, and status, plus direct links to the portfolio companies they hold
Strategies
Strategies capture the investment approach - e.g. Buyout, Growth, Venture, or Credit - with their own linked funds, portfolio companies, and dedicated teams
You can toggle between Fund, Strategy and Investor profiles and seamlessly move from a specific Fund to a broader Strategy or aggregated Investor profile.
Portfolio insights
The Portfolio section shows every company the investor owns or has exited, fully filterable by sector, region, or size.
You can identify where they’re most active, how they structure ownership stakes, and which companies link to specific funds or strategies.
Explore the Portfolio in more detail using:
-
Our Assessment and Benchmarking tabs to visualise and compare Strategy and Portfolio performance
-
Entries, Exits and Add-ons for deal activity by category
- The News to track newly published financials, funding rounds or dealmaking
Network and relationships
Our Investor profiles also map an investor’s wider ecosystem via:
-
Representatives: the professionals leading investments, tied to specific Portfolio Companies
- Advisors: the banks, consultants and lenders they most frequently work with
Together, these show both the internal structure and the external relationships shaping their dealmaking activity.
Providing feedback
You can always request a profile be curated; or use the Share Feedback button to provide insight on portfolio companies, funds, or deals.
Sharing feedback ensures your profile is always accurate and up to date.
FAQs
How do you estimate dry powder?
Our proprietary model combines fund size, vintage, and investment period to estimate remaining capital. It provides a directional view of how much is still available for deployment
When should I use a Fund vs Strategy profile?
Use Fund profiles to see capital deployment and fund-specific portfolios, and Strategy profiles to understand investment style and focus areas. Both roll up into the main investor view
