What's the difference between a Lender and a Credit?

Lenders on Gain.pro are the institutions that provide loans and financing.

Credits represent specific individual loans or facilities provided to specific companies, often tied to sponsors.

We identify the terms of individual credits (e.g. coupon, reference rate).

A Lender can issue several loans to the same borrower with different terms or tranches. Each is tracked separately as a Credit for full transparency.

We roll up credits to a given Lender to present an aggregated view of their facilities outstanding.
