Collaborating with your team in Gain.pro

What to know

Gain.pro is built to enable seamless collaboration with your team in every aspect. 

You can share entire Watchlists with your team and manage your team's access by role.

We also facilitate exports (in PDF or Excel) of profiles or parts of profiles (e.g. Financials, Deals).

We also offer Gain.pro-CRM integrations that mean you can access all your insights across both systems.

 

Watchlist collaboration

Once you've built a Watchlist, you can share it with others from your team and control their access level.

How to share a Watchlist

Use the "Option" button or select the three dots from the sidebar - then select "Share" on any Watchlist.

Then, just type in their email address and select their role.

Role control: Viewers, Editors and Owners

You can define the type of role for every user that has access to a Watchlist. 

Every Watchlist must have at least 1 Owner, who can adjust lists, change team members and give owner rights; Editors can adjust lists and add / remove team members; and Viewers can view lists but have no editing rights 

 

Sharing profiles & searches

If you just want to share a Search on Gain.pro without creating a Watchlist - just copy the URL.

Any search will load for a user as you see it, enabling you to quickly collaborate.

You can export our profiles in a PDF summary or in Excel (e.g. Financials and Deals). 

You can also download a list of Companies in a structured Excel output - export either based on your current column view or all potential columns.

 

 

FAQs

What's the difference between an Owner and an Editor on a Watchlist? 
  • An Editor can add or remove companies from a Watchlist and manage who has access
     
  • An Owner has all the permissions of an Editor, but can also assign other users as Owners and delete the Watchlist
     
  • Every Watchlist must have at least one Owner
How do I share a specific search or company profile with a Colleague?
  • The easiest way is to simply copy the URL from your browser's address bar and send it to your colleague. When they open the link, they'll see the page or Search you were looking at
     
  • Otherwise, you can also export profiles into PDF / Excel; or export a list of companies into Excel
What happens if I share a link with someone who doesn't have a Gain.pro account?
  • In order to view a shared Gain.pro link, your colleague must have an active Gain.pro account and be logged in
     
  • If they are not, they will be prompted to log in before they can view the page
How do I set up the CRM integration for my team?
